Mariya is a paediatric dentist from Ukraine, now practising in the UK as a registered dental therapist. She brings over 16 years of experience working in one of Ukraine’s leading private practices, where she developed her expertise in caring for children and promoting early dental health.

After qualifying as a general dentist at Lviv National Medical University in 2007, Mariya completed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry in 2009. She went on to combine clinical practice with teaching, lecturing at international paediatric dental events from 2014 onwards, and in 2015 became a Counsellor of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry. Most recently, her article on prevention in paediatric dentistry was published in the British Dental Journal in 2024.

Mariya is passionate about making dental visits a positive and stress-free experience for children. She focuses on restorative and preventive care, helping her patients overcome dental fears and build confidence in their smiles. She strongly believes that healthy teeth are essential not only for wellbeing and development, but also for self-esteem.
